Road to Renewal: Update as I know it

-    Our newly assigned VICARIATE is: Genesee/Wyoming 
(This is a grouping of Families #6, 12 & 13; a VICAR will represent us in Diocesan affairs)

-    Family #6 is St. Joseph in Holland, St. George in West Falls, Immaculate Conception in East Aurora, Annunciation in Elma and St. Vincent in Springbrook)

-    The goal of Bishop Fisher is to name PASTORS for Families on or about October 15th.
Shortly thereafter, the plan is to name two additional priests to serve our Family #6.

-    A six-month “activation” phase of forming our Family structure will begin on Nov. 1st. 
During this time, representatives of each parish in the Family will meet to assess strengths to be shared and ways to collaborate in mission and ministry.

-    The areas in need of volunteers to represent us are: Liturgy, Spiritual Life, Forming Disciples, OutReach/InReach, Stewardship and Administration. (details: see Sr. Lori)

-    Changes in schedules, staffing and activities are to be expected in this process.
