Rosary & Altar Society Mtg

The Rosary Altar Society (RAS) has been at St. George since 1948! Its primary mission is to spread devotion to Mary through recitation of the Rosary and works of charity. A secondary mission is the maintenance of the sanctuaries of the chapel and the church. Over the years the society has purchased linens, banners, vestments, altar cloths, and numerous other necessities for the altar and church, including the new chapel bell system (thanks to a parishioner’s generous bequest to RAS).

RAS donates to a number of charities, too, such as Harvest House, the Mother Theresa Home, Christ the King Seminary, and Catholic Charities.
 
We are a small but active group and welcome new members. We meet monthly from April through November on the 3rd Tuesday of the month at 11 am in the parish hall. If you’re interested in joining or need more information call the parish office at 652-3153 or email [email protected]
