Ministers of the Word

Lectors proclaim the Word of God during the Mass. The lector prepares the readings in advance using a workbook that is provided. 

This ministry requires not only the ability and confidence to speak before a large group, but also a love for the Word of God.  Lectors are scheduled according to their preference on a rotating basis. 
The schedules are flexible and completed in 2 month time blocks.
This ministry does require a commitment to serve when scheduled
or to arrange for a replacement from the lector roster.
